Kind of a pre-companion piece to an image that 
kamui and I started last week. I got antsy, so I started a tangential version -- hopefully they will work together! This was super fun, and it was nice to actually spend a couple of days working on a single image rather than trying to power through for instant-gratification in one sitting. Emmanuel Malin hugely inspired this. <3

Hahaha! -- I had to look up Angra when I saw your comment. I was actually
referencing the the 15th century illuminated manuscript associated with Thomas Aquinas
which engages issues of the alchemical, titled: Aurora Consurgens, or "The surging of the dawn"

Thanks man. I decided to stop being lazy and actually paint in detail.
I am really excited to start resolving some of the images we've begun, they are all rad starts. I've been in a exuberant painting explosion, but I think Im ready now to buckle down and start working on some more elaborate term images.
