“And, there. You’re geared up.” the Crystech chimed. Her voice was overly enthused, whilst Nemui gazed over the tight-fitting suit.
“M-Must I wear this at all times?” Nemui murmured, flicking a mechanical ear and letting out a slight huff as her movements felt overly restricted. The iridescent sheen of the…”fabric” was certainly pretty, at least.
The Crystech stared at Nemui, dumbfounded, before letting out a decidedly dejected laugh. “Oh, goodness me, no! It might help your Core, but it’s hardly practical for daily use.” she hummed with thought, tapping her cheek. “I’ve tailored it to show your markings for Light consumption, so do not feel discouraged to wear it, though!”
“What brought on this upgrade?” Nemui asked quietly, turning her back to the crystal which was so clear, it was practically a mirror and thus was used as such. She frowned a little and blushed upon viewing how clear her posterior was visible in the suit, a slight huff of stardust leaving her lips.
“Well~,” the Crystech began, lifting her pointer finger matter-of-factly. “Since we’re an archaic society in an age of technological advancement - especially on Earth - it was decided by Princess Eirana that we would be equipped with these suits. Since we’re currently the only entities able to use our Elendorian tech, we created these suits to allow for more functionality. You’ll now be able to utilise your Core as a holographic manipulation station--” she paused at The Dreamwalkers’ baffled expression, laughing airily before clarifying; “...It will make being a Celestial easier, basically.”
“For something meant to be easy, it certainly seems complex…” Nemui commented with a slight tinge of fatigue in her tone.
“I understand. You’re not like me. You’re young, but I’m younger. Perhaps it’s best I explain through Dreams!”
“...I guess?” Nemui replied, but smiled at the sprightly young rabbit. “I appreciate it.”
