Conall's Irish literature classes at the university are quickly filling up every semester since he began offering them - challenging coursework that covers James Joyce, W.B. Yeats and Jonathan Swift, as well as introductions to reading aloud poems in their original Gaelic, with emphasis on precise grammar and pronunciation.
It's grown popular enough that he's branched out into other course offerings in Irish culture, from more advanced and deeper weekly readings of Yeats' poems, to inviting students to the local pub for Friday night Irish music sessions with Pacato leading on the fiddle.
The coursework is engaging and the older wolfhound an excellent professor, but he's no slouch when it comes to how demanding the coursework is, with surprise quizzes and regular exams to ensure his students are keeping up as well as expected on the semester's readings.
As it turns out, a few students have discovered this fat wolfhound is rather partial to sweets, and home-baked ones at that, in exchange for an extension on a midterm essay, or for the chance to earn extra points on an upcoming exam.
As word of mouth has quickly spread of the fat, jolly wolfhound's forgiving extra credit on top of engaging curriculum, the seats in his class had quickly filled to capacity, to say nothing of the wolfhound, himself!
