Amy T. commissioned this marvelous piece based on the adventures of her rpg character Sidra. It was a lot of fun to illustrate. I particularly liked doing the gypsy wagon with all of the wild color and detail.

I did a bit of research on real gypsy wagons. Apparently over the top colors and patterns are not unusual....

Funny, it struck me as such a conceivable pattern. Your research paid off. I've once come across a really beautiful Vardo with gold and green - it seems a common combination. I think I'd prefer the one you drew though. Purple goes well with it - plus, your's got all sorts of critters dancing around it. :)

Yeh, the critters are what really make the story part of this illustration work. If I can get Amy to write up the story of this pic, I'll post it on my site. She has described it to me and it's a hoot!
