My cat "Charlie" likes sitting directly in front of the ceramic heater in the office, and I worry about him getting burned. This image shows cats don't seem to mind the radiant heat.

My cat would do similar near a space heater... she'd get so close, you could smell her fur burning. She wasn't on fire, just singed, but she wouldn't move away. LOL
