I turned to him again to glare for interrupting, before I remembered what I’d done.
Stewart was leaning against the doorframe, adorned in one of my summery-est spaghetti-strap tops in pale lavender, edged with lace along the chest; along with a light blue-striped combination skirt-shorts. It wasn’t the most feminine outfit I had in my wardrobe, but it was definitely pretty thoroughly on that side of the scale - and it did seem to fit him quite well.
As Katie snorted and tried to hold in a burst of laughter, covering her mouth at the sight, he gave a slightly exasperated smirk and a slightly awkward pose to show off the outfit, his tail bouncing behind him as he shifted his weight. “Thanks Erin! Much better to be able to move around freely. I’ll be sure to pay you back the favour when I get a chance.” Translation: Oh, you’ll get yours.
