Quick break from the FC 2010 doodles to show ya a goofy object that wandered into my posession recently: The Rat sword. Yeah, I need more swords like I need to be taller, but hey, my avatar used to be a rat, and one of the longest-running morph characters I got is Herman Orca, the Rat king. I had to have this.

Not exactly something I'd want myself, but considering I was meant to of been born in the year of the rat, thats certainly something I wish I could find for my sword collection. An interesting find.

How old is the sword or is it a modern piece? I can't tell from the photos. Its a very neat piece in any case.

Blade is modern steel....solidly anchored to the hilt, which is not always the case with inexpensive blades. Has a halfway decent edge on it, too. I'd want to sharpen it a bit more before I started hacking off limbs, but it at least seems that it can.

My 'dragonfly' sword was the only valuable thing i managed to take with me in my daze as i escaped.

Legend has it that once upon a time there was a blade... bane to all forms of cheese and diary products... so sharp it could cut the milk's cream from the fat in a single stroke...

Of course there is something to be said about the truth behind legends...
