Kayla always had great close range skills, however her skills with ranged weaponry have been lacking, mostly thanks to her cybernetic parts never being calibrated for ranged combat. The problem was that whenever she tried to look for a trainer, they always refused or made excuses, repulsed by her cybernetic aspect. That is, untill she finally met Nik, who was more than happy to assist her. To make her comfortable and to make sure there would be no one around to distract and bother them, Nik used some favours and specifically booked some shooting range solo time in the evening, creating a calm romantic atmosphere together~

This seems like an odd thing to notice or point out but I really like and respect that you made sure both of them had their trigger fingers away from, and prolly outside the trigger guard. That little bit of professionalism and safety before the snuggling starts. I'm sure if I knew what part of that rifle was the safety it'd be on too, given your attention to detail.
