Contrary to popular belief, Fenrir and Raphy are more than just friends.

Fenrir is a guardian of the Silva Sol et Luna, or Forest of the Sun and Moon, transformed by the goddess of the forest from a normal gray wolf into the midnight blue guardian you all know and love.

Raphael Amadeus Firefur, otherwise known as 'Raphy' is an orphaned fox which Fenrir offered to take care of after witnessing the execution of his father and disappearance of his mother.

As it turns out, the two were destined to be together. Fenrir's title is the Equinox Wolf, while Raphy's title is the Solstice Fox. Together they protect the Silva Sol Et Luna from any sort of disturbance, with Raphy being the quick one, and Fenrir being the strong one.

This is them in their ceremonial armor, used only in special combat situations (aside from this amusing photo op).

Fenrir is far stronger than Raphy, and thus wears heavy armor with a single long blade (which is normally 7 feet long, but I had to cut it out for this).

Raphy is far faster than Fenrir and thus wears light armor with two small 1½ feet long daggers.

(There is a reason they don't wear chest armor. It's so their bellies have plenty of room to grow when they shove their unfortunate enemies in there. XD)

If you notice, Fenrir and Raphy's markings on their forehead match and contrast each other, Fenrir's looking like a crescent moon, and Raphy's like an eclipsed sun. Coincidence? I think not! =P And yes, Raphy appears older in this, because he doesn't gain his guardian status for a very long time.
