Dora Winifred is such an illiterate little brat! She broke his model airplane in the first place, she's the one who should be grounded. Even kids around her age would know better and would have been taught as early as the age of 1 no to mess with anything like this. There are no good excuses to pardon her for being just a little girl. I'm very sad his friends decided to fall for her side of the story, especially Fern who used that horrid excuse out loud to Arthur (and even the audience watching this unmitigated disaster of an episode). This episode is supposed to be a private family matter, not something for the kids at Arthur's school to get on his case about and that Arthur eventually gets punched over what he did to Dora Winifred. Arthur punching his sister was clearly done in revenge/retaliation over her breaking his model airplane first. Anyone who wants to take Dora Winifred's side of the argument is an idiot. And while Arthur is forced to apologize, that's when his sister once she finally does immediately takes her apology back and saying the exact same excuse Fern said to Arthur before while at school.
