Just a random cheetah warrior, unrelated to my setting. Cheetahs are so adorable, they need more attention. :D
The anatomy is a bit wonky here and there, but this was a "speeddrawing + speedpainting" kind of thing, so I'm still happy with the result. Hope you like it. ^^

That is an Ikakalaka sword.
A short sword in terms of length. more so for slashing than stabbing purposes.

Was a sword for the rich in the Congo central African region.

Generally, I try to avoid commenting on your work Olaf, (simply because I love your whole gallery), but I would, in this case, make an exception and say that this is the sexiest cheetah I have seen you make in your style.
Having said that, ...the look, the eyes, the pose, the neck hair, and of curse, the color, it is all magnificent.
If I do love your work as much as Titus (because, cheetahs ...daa) ...I love it dramatically more when colored,
Always love your work on color, because it´s as unique as your drawing style, making this kind of pics, favorites among favorites. ...is not often we get to see those.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
Thank you for this gift
...sexy gift XD
PS: The term "native elegant" comes to mind when looking it again (even though it may not feel that way for many) ...but that cat has manners. Haha (love that)
Cheers ...I mean, Cheets

We call this sword Efamba. You can use it to cut off limbs or to behead someone. Its strange form makes sense if you imagine it more like a very large sickle which can also be used for wrestling in very close combat. It is a bit like a mix between a medieval European sword and a large sickle, as far as combat goes. I must however state that most Konda whom I have met have worn this type of sword as ceremonial weapon.
You are welcome, Howard! David has said that his uncle has bought one from this website:

I can not say how the quality is, though.
