GIMP is a free and comparatively nice Photoshop clone. And you could do all kinds of fancy stuff with layers, but a simple color tweak can be done with a dial.

Yea I was going to take some pics today outside, but then I remembered I can't open my front door. Have been debating building a snow-ramp to the outside. Tested with the cat today, who had to be fished out a snowbank because she sank right through. Stupid snow >.>
