Got some critique on my Star fursona and honestly it was kind of a relief because I couldn't pinpoint exactly what was bothering me about him. They said, and I agree, that the head area was frankly a mess, and all of it (the hair, horns, AND ears) was hard to understand visually. I definitely have gotten some art of him that shows those bits were difficult to draw

So with some help from friends I fussed with his design the past few days and settled on this

Brought back my old fursona's ears (anyone remember him?) and combined them with the spacedust horn concept. The ears can change shape so people can draw them however they want. Simplified the hair a bit too, and a few of the markings

Basically I just want his design to be approachable and flexible for artist liberty, and I think this is closer to that idea

Please don't feel the need to draw the fish though >.>
