Interesting character, the bright white color is interesting and works well with the blue eyes I think.
I like the clothing detail, the head design, and the color choice.
Good job on this, you should definitely make more versions of the character sometime, keep advancing his look.

I actually have a few more images made by me. (this one was line art I commissioned and I recolored it and added a few minor details.)

Indeed, certainly makes for interesting perspectives; not sure why you like the up close eye one, though I'm sure you have your reasons.
Definitely seems like your characters ulterior role is some sort of medieval fantasy warrior and that's certainly interesting; I typically make my character a kind of monk when I make alternative costumes or looks for em.
Good luck on your written works, I can say from first hand experience that writing takes a very long time and lots and lots of revision; but eventually if you end up with an interesting enough story it can be a delight to share with others.
