Let me first off start out by saying that the pose depicted was something that came to me and I thought it would look awesome for Blitzer here to have it when hes firing off that laser cannon of his. It worked out better then I could have hoped!
So yeah, Blitzer firing off that duel cannon blast of his, causing anything hit by it to be out of commission most likely. Or at least to have a very bad day. He would typically fire from this position due to it being somewhat natural for him as a crocodile and provides the perfect bracing position for the power of those cannons.
