yah, i have a philosophy on ships and relationships where my characters are projections of myself and Ender and Zerik are a projection of my ideal relationship so i dont feel like going through the anxiety and pain that comes with being forced to see him with other characters even if it is "fictional",, its not fictional to me, i put my heart and soul into them and just once i want a character all to myself. I dont understand why people cant just accept my opinion,, like i dont shit on other ppls opinions on ships and characters but whatever,, i dont expect anyone to really read it and respect my opinion tho but its there as a heads up,, :,D doing that whole "nsfw of your idea male with another girl lol" stuff to myself wouldnt be a good idea anyway since i'm in a bad mental state and it would just destroy me

hmm story stuff as in both lore, random facts, and ideas in the description,, i do plan on doing a comic of Meru's stroy that i'm writing which includes him and Ender on one of their missions. It's not nsfw though despite some people's dislike to that,, I'm not much of an nsfw people anyway and i want to do story stuff rather than just please

I read it if that counts aha, and ya, I also prefer to just have a character pairing and just have them stick, rather than constantly flop around with other characters. Allows for more depth too and for them to better develop chemistry and bonds imo <:

i'm more open with Ender since she is my main oc and occasionally people do want pieces with her, but despite that I'm not actually super content with seeing her with others either,, I'll avoid it if i can but if i absolutely have to draw her with someone else,, a commission is a commission. I am grateful to not have to do it often though,, I think i've only ever had to draw stuff of her was when it was my own wish and just art of Ender and Rye that Rye commissioned in the past,, that was before I was making a ref for Zerik,, i think this will end up the same way with Zerik that happened with Ender where I'll only do it if its commissioned in the future. its just that i dont have a lot of dragon shipart of them and my emotional state isnt the greatest so when I think about having to see them with other characters (especially him) it hurts me.

But really though, I've never been 100% content with seeing/drawing Ender with others, I just kinda do it if i'm forced to or when i'm in a particularly good mood and/or i like an idea :,D I prefer to stick to cannon stuff and ships/crackships revolving around actual story stuff tho which is why there really isnt any nsfw art of her.. yet. I think my one issue with FA and the nsfw community as a whole regarding this stuff is that most people dont actually care for solid ships (story, character chemistry, the actual personalities that characters have, ect) and their philosophies and opinions on characters conflict majorly with my own philosophies and opinions. and you know, fine i dont care as long as it doesnt effect me and my characters, you do you. it doesnt sit well with me no matter how much i try to distance myself emotionally when it comes to my own characters. I'm a very emotionally attached person and i project myself very strongly in my characters, their relationships, and the story/universe as a whole. I like having 100% control over what happens to my characters and I hate having ppl force or guilt me into drawing/doing something for their own pleasure when it's supposed to be my escape and "salvation" from real life so sometimes I end up doing this thing where I just shut down and guard my characters to the death when there is conflict, like i'm doing now. and really it's nothing against anyone, I just dont agree with how other people regard characters and ships and i protect them out of fear for my own sanity :,D I only end up actually having an issue once someone tries to tell me how to live my life, how to feel, how to think, and/or i'm wrong when it's my own opinion and they're my characters. Not saying that everyone is like that, its just from what i've seen its like that and nsfw where the characters dont actually love each other and they dont have any chemistry or story whatsoever really dont do anything for me,, its just bland and dry to me,, I need that juicy romance and story xD (plus when i was introduced to shipping it was never anything like this,, people created actual relationships and stayed true to them,, it was like an actual relationship was built with story, etc,, so when i had to see this it terrified me because of how i created these safe havens and stable relationships to combat what bs happens irl and then suddenly i see people threatening to tear everything i know and love apart,,everyone fantasizes differently, i just didnt expect anyone to actually try to force me to do something that made me uncomfortable just because they were horny,, I take shipping very seriously if you havent noticed already xD )

it wont be how Ender and Meru meet, just kinda him struggling with the past and Ender is present because she was supposed to be working and the two crossed paths. They dont get along too well but it's fun to write how they interact ;p

Yea I imagine people are usually more interested in their own characters doing the naughty. Personally I'd find it a little awkward to commission something like that, especially since there wouldn't really be any character building behind it other than "why not".
I actually thought Ender was paired with Rye initially tbh!
I mean, if it hurts you to even just think about the idea, it might be better to just keep him Ender-only. Obviously your choice, but I can't imagine anyone complaining about it. As they say, don't do things you're uncomfortable with!

Yeeeee, solid pairings are amazing. Some people like developing pairings, others seem to just want to have fun with their sona's or characters with other peoples characters, though yea, that's typically nsfw from what I've noticed too, sometimes where it seems a little out of character for either one. Not often you get to see some sfw sona hanging out with others sonas randomly. Personally I adore character pairs with good chemistry (especially if they're hella cute too!), even though I'll admit I'm not great at character development myself aha.

I mean, that's perfectly understandable! No one likes being forced to do things they don't want to do, and I do hope you'll be able to avoid that going forward. Having a characters personality tossed out the window is no fun. You guard those characters like a protective mama bear haha! No is a complete sentence as they say <:
