Go show this artist a lot of love!! They're having a hard time right now and could really use some love and support. They're considering quitting art and their works are so cute, it would be an awful shame if they stopped completely ;w;
Hitsumabushi is chopped grilled eel on rice in a large wooden tub for keeping cooked rice (o-hitsu). You eat it in four sets; first on its own, second with toppings that are provided, and third with dashi soup. The fourth set is for you to eat it how you liked it best~
I got to enjoy this when I stayed with my host family in Japan. It was such a wonderful experience <3
