Another chimera picture. I was brainstorming a bunch of them months ago, and this was the other one I thought was worth finishing up. I didn't initially intend it to look like a grown up version of my earlier one, but it worked out that way.

I worked it in pencil this time because I want to retain what little skill I've developed with traditional media, and I bought all of these pencils and Bristol paper so I should use them up. Sometimes it's a little easier than OC, but oh how I got so used to that undo command.

Anybody have any good techniques or settings for scanning pencils? I fussed with this for about a half hour and this was as close to the original that I could get.
