I've decided to start a new training regime of doing at least one sketch of a snowleopard from a photo reference every day.
I've set some extra rules for myself too. It has to be done in less than 1 hour, I can only use the one brush (Though I can choose which brush before I start), and I can only use black. No undo, no erase.
The idea is to become good at drawing them quickly and accurately.

I might work on it some more one day.
I probaly wouldn't ink it though. I find I get the best results by painting without ink lines. Ends up looking more realistic.
The way I would do it is I'd just start colouring this sketch as it is, and then once a fair bit of colouring is done, turn off the sketch layer and work on the details in the colouring itself. Same process I used for the one that I made into my icon.
