So in class, we had to make these to show how the light affects our paper. We had to place random objects that we brought from home that we could see our hand through on the paper. The chain thing at the top is my bracelet, the button looking things on the bottom are marbles actually, the middle bottom thing is my boyfriend's grad ring. He let me wear it because he felt bad that I don't have my own grad ring, didn't have enough money. The thing in the middle right side of the image is actually not a ruler, as many think, but a plastic roll you put nickels into. The two disks are actually one DVD that I split in two, it being a dual layered disk and all. The reason the bottom disk looks a bit blurry is because I placed a sheet of weird material over it, the material was the screen of a laptop.
So the light shines down, the areas touched by light turned black, while the areas that had the light blocked out stayed pretty much the paper's white.

Oh, I didn't do it in the darkroom. I just did at home, leaving my hand on the sheet of paper outside while I read a book with my other hand. I figured that if I used my butt, light would still get in the crack, and then we'd have a jolly good time as the class tried to figure out what that single crack on dark on the page was.
Then I considered that exposing myself to the class could constitute some kind of sexual harassment. I consulted my teacher. She looked at me funny and said "...no. Don't. Please."
And yet kindly welcome! *Keeps rampaging* RAAR!
