*chuckles* No, only that it was too chaotic to really hang out and talk with the artists. She drew me that way because I'm really tall and she felt intimidated when we met. :)

I imagine there is a lot of territorial lingering by fans of specific artists at their booths, inhibiting others from approaching.

There is that, Plus, the Artist Alley is more of a free fire zone. With sales booths, the con works very hard to make sure that customers can browse. In the Artist Alley, usually the idea is to maximize the room for the artists. This means that a gaggle of rabid fans can block not only their artist, but those around them. It's just generally crowded and chaotic. I tend to avoid the area for that reason. I'll stop in there occasionally, but I won't linger.

I'll have to keep that in mind when I go to RainFurrest this year. :)
