I forgot my sketchbook at home today when I went in for work, and the new receipt paper is crap for drawing on. SOOOOO I just found some scrap cardboard and doodled on that lolol. An old lady called me Baby Dumple as a petname today, and I thought it was so hilariously adorable ;m;.
So, here's Yuru scanned in and with some flat color. I was gonna try and draw Fu in as well, but I didn't feel like it after the initial thought derp.

I was drawing on cardboard once, but then somebody wrote a phone number on it. I still haven't gotten an answer as to why the hell they had to seek out this one piece of cardboard hidden in my closet rather than the piles of receipts and loose paper all around the rest of the space.
How awesome is textured paper! Well you make it awesome too! I love the flat color, I love how it's just one color, I'd never be able to resist colors! It's so solemn it's awesome. I love the character as well. You have this tight way of playing with proportions for maximum interest!
