I always wanted to experiment with drawing one of his viewing portals, so rather enjoyed that aspect of the comic.
I had a few different iterations for the end panel but chose to go with this.
as for the folks in the view, they have been captured by the same forces who captured Mayor Albert and his town. Albert and a quarter of his town were rescued and the group work to locate and rescue the rest, so no doubt the two found here will be rescued in time as well.
