This was shot minutes ago (it's 2230h on Feb 12) outside my house.
This is a photostitched, two shot image since I couldn't get the house and the stars in the same frame. I tweaked it in Photoshop to square up the lines a bit and to crop out some of the chunks that were missing off the sides.
I like this shot because it features my humble abode as well as one of my favorite constellations, Orion.
This also shows exactly how the term, darkness, is a relative one where I live. There is way too much light pollution and too many street lights but that's how suburbia works.
