Back in 1998 I got hooked on "Road Rovers", the show that finally pushed me into the furry fandom . I had been writing RR fanfics for a year, but it was only in late 1999 that I actually tried my hand at drawing one of my characters. For some reason, I chose Wolfeye Migatua, a general of the wolf-sapien villain organisation KH Military in my fanfics.

Wolfeye wore a green KH squadron general's armored trooper suit, which I would copy/paste for a variety of other troopers, all in various eyeball-assault colours from grey to red to blue to white to black. I also, for some reason, gave him aqua-coloured fur. But that was not unusual, since back then I had a limited grasp on colour palettes.

Since all I had to draw with was MSPaint, my first true furry picture is about as low quality as one could get. It would also be the only picture I would be able to draw in 1999 before the new millenium rolled around. But this is where I started.
