Many of the older Subway stations around city hall have this intricate tile work. Sure beats the stainless steel airport waiting room feel of the modernized ones.

The mosaic style of the older stations sure are swell. CTA has a lot of these type of stations in their minuscule subway mileage.

XD!! I was talking with a photographer who'd shoot in some pretty rough areas. That guy said pretty much the same thing

Yeah, 100%. With the exception of brickwork you rarely see this kind of craftsmanship anymore
