(We were chatting about Rafe giving a touch-starved Fear her first kiss,causing Fear to start crying - tbh Rafe would likely respond with an "oh shit, I went too far" reaction at first since crying = bad and he doesn't always pick up on some complicated cues in human expression, but would return to his suave self after finding out she's okay and actually just overwhelmed with good feels lmao)
