Recently I have decided to sit down and watch Lion King 2 after having not seen it since it first came out when I was a kid. Despite its flaws, I thought it was a pretty okay film. However, what really sold the whole thing for me was Zira and Suzanne Pleshette's performance of her. I have a newfound love for this character as I just couldn't get enough of how incredibly ferocious and power hungry she was. In fact, she's one of the more darker and underappreciated Disney villains I have seen as of late. That, and I also really love her design: really slim but well built, even despite her age, she's very capable of holding her own and leading a small army.

Therefore, I decided to commission  Araivis-Edelveys for this rather lovely picture of Zira dressed in Kycilia Zabi's admiral uniform from Mobile Suit Gundam Origin. Given Zira's commanding authority and ambition to retake the Pridelands in the name of Scar's ideals (and I'm such an enormous Gundam nerd) I thought this was a rather fitting combination. Zira makes a perfect Zeon commander!
