Here we have the pitting welded over so it should now hold hydraulic pressure of 3000 psi. The lines are part of the dover's steering clutches system. This is one of three places that needed some repair. The other tube had two worn places that needed to be built up so the tubes wouldn't burst under high pressure.

All the welding was done with a TIG welder. Due to the nature of the corrosion the welding was rather time-consuming to get good clean welds without porosity.
