Decided to sketch these two between working on commissions, I never tire of making myself more rabbit characters.

I wanted to give these two long lapine language related names (Like Hyzenthlay, Thethuthinnang etc) as I realised I didn't have many Watership Down characters with those types of names.
Hrair in lapine means a large number and Rubus is a superspecies of flowering plants in the rose family (So brambles basically) so her names loosely translates to "lots of brambles".
Lendri in lapine means badger and Thlay of course means fur so his name translates to "Badgerfur".

Haven't ironed out their full backstory yet but what I have so far is they're sister and brother with Hrairrubus being strong and grumpy and Lendrithlay being optimistic and smart. Hrairrubus lost part of her ear saving her brother from a surprise Elil attack.
