Haha! That's no sniper rifle there that's for sure. Accurate, yes, but that particular AR's only about 1 MOA away from the Tantal in terms of measurable accuracy. They've got roughly the same effective range, with the Tantal's round having a slight but difficult to measure advantage.

You're thinking about the AK 47's reputation, not the WZ 88, or even the AK 74. It fires a different round which is very similar to the round used by the AR.

These two guns are equals - in everything but age of parts.

Actually, the Tantal, being a '74 variant, fires the 5.45x39, not quite the same short range round as the 7.62x39. The 5.45 is a bit weaker than the 5.56, but they're about the same ballistically. Neither is really an appropriate round for a sniper rifle.

dun shoot corrosive, but when I first get any firearm, I ALWAYS take it apart and clean it, even if it's already been cleaned.
