I had the idea to draw an AU where Cygnus was in K-12 SINCE I FIRST SAW IT
BUT UUUUUUUUHHHHH I GUESS I WAITED A COUPLE MONTHS LOL

Cygnus first got in trouble on the very first day of school due to his dyed hair. In fact, he had just dyed it the day before so he could look cool, but the teachers did not take this too kindly and he was sent to detention. This was the first of many.
In the weeks following, he would get into fights with one of the other students (this is how he got the bite on his ear in this AU). He would purposefully provoke him to start a fight, yet this student would claim every time that Cygnus attacked him out of nowhere. This student kept doing this in order to gain sympathy from the teachers and other students, despite knowing how Cygnus was physically stronger than him. This, of course, came at Cygnus's expense. He was first put on the pink pills, then blue, then yellow, as this affair continued (I know in the movie you only see the pink pills as the lowest dose, so I think the other levels would follow the same pattern as being the main colours of the movie's colour scheme idk).
The medication made him very drowsy and slowed his reaction times. Yet the school didn't ever take this into account during lessons because of their strict and contradictory rules. He falls asleep in class often and is slow to do his work, so he's still punished often. His uniform is stained and his hair is messy, because he can't tidy himself up, but still he's told off.
Cygnus does not have any powers, nor does he know about the students with powers (in fact I don't think it's even possible for blue boys to have powers??? since their whole thing is that they already stand out because they're blue like ahfdgsdjhf no need to be a mary sue special snowflake by being blue AND having powers)
Sometimes he eats crayons. Honestly he's generally just not sure what's going on around him.
