Now back to the canon story of me and Meika. Now while this chapter is a very long one, pay very close attention to it as not only are more characters who are important are introduced, but the fact those who are meant to be together, including me and Meika, are getting closer. I also love her dress, she's really perfect with a strapless one. I also love how the background with the shading and lights came out. And notice how happy she is to be with me and that is canon. Just look at how happy she is to be with me as it should be and with no one else.

The Dance
At last the night came for the first party at Nicholas’s family estate. The group all got ready. The guys were waiting for the ladies downstairs all dressed up in their suits. The husky’s mechanic John had arrived and he was dressed up but his suit was more to hint at the gothic style. The Doberman still looked very good in it. “Great to have you come by man,” Nicholas said as they did a bro hug.
“I’m just happy to be here in time to see the ladies come down,” the other canine commented with a grin. “If you need any pictures taken, I’m your man.”
Just then there was a clearing of a throat. It was Jessica. She grinned at the guys. “Knock knock,” the female chameleon stated. She was nice looking and came down the stairs and up to Meelo who gave her a nod of approval.
“Not too much?” she asked.
“You are ready for this,” he replied.
“The rest are ready,” the female chameleon announced. Next to emerge was Mia. She was looking very lovely in her red dress. Sonny’s eyes went wide with shock as he saw the panda come down the stairs. She walked up to him with a smile, eyes bearing love and playfulness in them.
“Hey there Sonny,” the female said happily. She then giggled at his stunned look. “What’s wrong? Got nothing to say?”
“Oh! Uh…” the male bear replied and rubbed the back of his head with a paw. “Er… you look great right now!”
“Thanks, you’re quiet nice liking to.” She took her place by his side while Tag and Nicholas exchanged grins. That is until Tamira arrived. The tiger was shocked at how she looked. The pantheress’s dress fit her frame perfectly. It was a very dark blue but had strings going around her neck. And her usual long braid of hair was gone. It hung loose.
The female made it down the stairs, not looking totally comfortable with this but was still trying her best to be professional. “Tamira… uh…” Tag said, acting similar to Sonny. “You look great right now.”
“Yes, well I had some help from some others,” the female replied. “If I had the choice, I wouldn’t go to this at all.”
“Oh come on, it’s not that bad,” Nicholas said to her. “It’s only a few parties and besides they’re happening in such close times within each other, you only have to wear the same dress. Imagine having multiple ones for each. Now that’d be a pain.”
“You’re right,” the pantheress agreed. “Maybe this won’t be so bad then.”
Just then a small giggle made them all look up to see Meika above. She smiled down at them before finding Nicholas’s eyes. His eyes went wide with shock seeing her come down the stairs to him. Her dress was magenta in color and strapless. It matched his blue tie and her neckwear wasn’t on. But this was the most beautiful he’d seen her especially with her happy, loving smile to him. The husky did blush but was able to act better than the other two guys. “Good evening Meika,” Nicholas said softly after she stood face to face with him. “You look absolutely beautiful.”
The vixen blushed but smiled to. “Thank you,” she whispered. “You’re handsome to.” It was more than just that; Nicholas was the most handsome Meika had ever seen the husky. But she wasn’t going to say this out loud.
“Pic time folks!” Johnny said. First came the pairings with those who were dancing and then one big group one before it was time to take off. Food would be there so there was no need for dinner.
Nicholas and Meika led the way out with her holding his arm. The husky didn’t mind and opened the car door for her. She got in and then the male followed suit. He drove and led the way to a different side of the city with the sun having just set. The new area turned out to be an even more upscale and even richer area. Finally though they pulled into a long driveway. This lead to a huge mansion. There were spotlights and people already here were going inside. It was almost like an opening night for a major movie. And if that weren’t enough there were signs that pointed people to this place for the event. “Oh my…” Meika whispered when seeing this.
“Yep, this is the house I grew up in,” Nicholas told her. “But you know me. Where I once lived isn’t going to change who I am.”
“No, you’re right, it won’t.”
The cars all pulled up to the front entrance and the group got out. Here others took the cars and drove them off to park them. “Well, here we go,” Nicholas told them. “Brace yourselves.”
They went into the main front doors. The inside was even more beautiful and gorgeous than the male’s place. But this was a mansion after all. The sound of others and laugher with talking could be heard. “Hey there they are!” went a familiar voice.
Looking showed Cody, Kira, Daniel, Rachel, Florence, and Mr. Jones, the males having their arms around their lady as they were pairs. They were all dressed sharply and nicely in their dresses and suits. Nicholas, Meika, and the others went over to them. “Glad you made it,” the husky said.
“Wouldn’t miss this for anything,” Cody replied. “Oh, I think your family is waiting for you in the main room.”
“Well we shouldn’t keep them waiting.”
Nicholas led the way to the main ballroom where this event would take place. Going in showed this was massive. There was plenty of space for everyone the tables to eat at, and to dance. There was even a stage with a podium. And here right away the group ran into Danny, his lead painter, second in command, and even the guy who prepared the cars for showing to the customers from the car shop. They were wearing suits similar to what John had on. “Good evening ladies and gents!” the younger sibling stated.
“Hey you made it!” Nicholas said with a grin. He and the guy did a bro hug like John while more paw and hand shaking happened for the rest.
“Wouldn’t miss it my man!”
“I trust you got it here?” the husky asked.
“Yes we do, they’re bringing it right now,” Danny told him. Everyone knew that was the bike.
“Very good. Say have you seen-“ Nicholas then saw the guys from the pawn shop and waved them over.
The Old Frog, his son, and grandson had more traditional suits. Even Lee Stan the salamander looked sharp to. “Hey Nicholas!” Dickson commented.
“I didn’t know they were coming to this,” Meika said to the husky.
“I invited them.”
“Doing alright all of you?” Dickson senior asked.
Everyone nodded, even Tag. “Yeah, but these clothes are killing me and a pain,” the tiger grumbled.
“Son, if you think that it’s the least of your problems it gets worse; life’s a bitch.” Everyone laughed at what the Old Frog’s saying and even he smiled.
“Well we need to find my family,” Nicholas then stated.
Just then Ms. Dira and Alfred appeared, both looking very nice and covering the story. “Oh look who it is,” Sonny said with a grin. The two deer came over.
“Good evening you two,” Miles said. The reporters were looking sharp and nice in their outfits tonight.
“And to you,” Alfred replied. “Ms. Dira here and I are reporting on the party here tonight. We’re just going around getting interviews. Do you mind?”
“We won’t keep you long!” she stated with a grin.
“What the hell why not?” Nicholas asked with a grin. So that’s what happened with all the racers here with him and those from the shops.
Like the two deer promised, it didn’t take long since they began to interview the workers, freeing up the racers. And then at last Nicholas saw his family and with them was Mr. Mane. There was also a lioness next to the male lion who was his wife. Meika saw them to. They looked exactly like what she had seen in the picture and were dressed up for this. But standing next to the younger husky was a corsac vixen and holding onto Lucas’s arm, clearly a girlfriend in a dress herself. These six turned to look at the ones coming and got grins. “Ah there they are!” the male lion stated. “I see they have made it!”
They came face to face. Nicholas smiled and his family hugged him. “Ooooh you’re looking so good and handsome,” his mother said in a high pitched tone.
“Thanks mom,” he replied.
“Doing well son,” his father commented.
The huskies then pulled back and Nicholas smiled at the corsac vixen. “Nice to see you again Marie,” he told her. “I guess it’s no surprise you’re here.”
“Was there any doubt?” she asked with a grin. “I am dating your brother after all.”
Nichola nodded and turned to the rest of the group so they could meet these people. “Of course welcome to Aispir City,” Mr. Mane said to them. “I am the mayor here. I’m sure you know who I am but I’ll say it anyways. I am Mr. Mane. I hope you’ve enjoyed your time here. I look forward to the racing season this year.”
“Thank you, we have sir,” Tag replied and everyone shook his paw.
“It’s nice to meet you as well,” the lioness said. “I’m Mrs. Mane, his wife.”
“Say, wasn’t Mr. King supposed to be here?” Nicholas then asked.
“There were so many guests we had to split up,” the lion explained. “He’s at a different party with the rest of the guests.”
“I see.” The husky then turned to his family to introduced them to the group. “Everyone, I’d like you to meet my family. My brother Lucas, his girlfriend Marie, my father Vincent, and my mother Linden.”
Their paws were all shaken and their names learned. “Nice to meet all of you,” the older husky said. “I’m glad my son has been taking care of you well. Glad to see he’s learned well from me.”
“I did learn everything from you and mom.”
Linden however had her eyes a bit more on Meika. She saw the way the vixen was looking at her son like he was for the first female. It made the mother canine smile as she could tell what was going on. And this Meika seemed like a nice, sweet girl who was perfect for her son. But nothing more was then said because just then some others came over also dressed up for this. “Hey there you guys are!” Nicholas stated with a laugh.
“Up high and down low!” one of the males said as the husky’s paws and the other guys wings came together before doing a bro hug. It was a Rook bird with blue eyes and dark feathers.
“Nice to see you again Jacob.”
“And same for me, chili pepper,” went the next male. It was a silver mountain back gorilla who was in his 30s and older. His voice was a deep, kind one.
“Sig!” the husky stated and the two bumped fists. “Great you’re doing alright old timer!”
“Hey, I’m not that old,” the primate replied with a chuckle. “I’ve still got a few seasons left in me to race.”
“Well I can’t say it’s the same for me,” went a female voice. This belonged to a female feline with purple eyes and white fur. She was quiet a looker.
“Hey there Ashley,” Nicholas said. “I knew you’d be here.”
“Was there any doubt?” she asked with amusement.
That left one person who had his wings crossed and a frown on his beak. It was a tall Lyre bird with purple eyes. “Well, well, I figured you wouldn’t show up,” Nicholas then said with a smirk.
“Hmph! I only came because the other party was too crowded!” the avian replied with a cocky British accent. “So I figured I’d come and check out the competition after learning other racers would be here!”
Nicholas rolled his eyes. “Everyone, meet Jacob…” The Rook nodded with a grin. “Sig, Ashley, and finally Victor. They’ll be in the racing season with us.” The rest in the group realized the two avians were the ones the husky had asked about at the orphanage.
“Nice to meet ya!” Jacob said as all introductions were down by paw, hand, or wing shakes. Even Victor did.
“I hope we get to know each other better!” Ashley stated to the group. “You’re friends of Nicholas after all! And I’ve known this goofball since high school!”
“Ouch, that hurt Ashley,” he said to her with a grin.
“Well I have a call just now,” Victor then said, pulling at his phone that was clearly going off. “I suppose I’ll see you later.” He walked off to answer it.
“Is he always like that?” Tag asked Nicholas. “He’s worse than Axel.”
“That’s just how he is,” the husky replied. “He’s very competitive.” Nicholas then went on to explain that he, Victor, Jacob, and Ashley had all gone to high school together. However, the two avians had grown up at the orphanage. But they had all been good friends until they got older. Victor started to distance himself from the others by entering the world of racing. He had gone on abroad, winning tournament after tournament, eventually earning the nickname, the Racing Phoenix King. But he had never fully forgiven Nicholas for beating him when coming back to Aispir City and being defeated. As such, Victor and the husky were rivals. Jacob was more relaxed and chill but still knew how to tear it up on the track and was great friends with Nicholas. Sig was the oldest of the racers and planning to retire after a few more seasons. But the gorilla warned them not to underestimate him. As for Ashley, she to came from a rich family like Nicholas and had known him all their lives. But they had never dated and despite her beauty, the feline knew how to tear it up on the track. Just then more guests started to come in so that meant more socializing. It was getting closer to eating and so that’s when Nicholas figured he and Meika would talk with his folks then. The two were standing and looking at everything. “Enjoying this so far?” he asked her.
“Yes,” she replied.
“Wait, Nicholas?” went another female voice. The husky turned and seeing who it was froze.
“Oh crap,” the canine groaned.
“What, what is it?” the vixen asked.
“It’s… my last ex.” Meika saw her coming while holding paws with a brown furred canine. She was white all over and had orange colored eyes. It had to be Miss Ballard. With them was a little female canine who was white who had to be ten or 11. They all were dressed for this.
“Nicholas, it is you!” the female canine exclaimed. The two hugged and the vixen felt herself getting hot all over with jealousy and anger. Even if she and the male weren’t dating, Meika didn’t like the idea of this canine being too friendly.
“It’s good to see you again,” the guy with glasses said. “You never told me you’d be here.”
“I was invited and decided to surprise you.”
“It would seem you have in more than one way,” the guy said with a nod to the brown furred canine.
“Oh yes,” Miss Ballard said kindly, “And I see you have a guest of your own. Nice to meet you, you must be one of the racers invited here.”
“Meika,” the vixen replied and they shook paws. The first female was having a difficult time being polite.
“So who are these two?” Nicholas then asked.
“Oh yes,” the female canine replied. “This is my boyfriend Jackson. And this little one is my niece Hera.”
“Hey there!” the young one said while the other canine shook paws with Nicholas and Meika. The vixen felt better now knowing that this new female wouldn’t try anything with the husky.
“Nice to meet you,” Jackson replied. “I’ve heard a lot about you from her.”
“Uh… good then,” Nicholas said, not sure what to make of that. “Just make her happy. That’s all I ask.”
“Oh he does for sure,” Miss Ballard replied. “We’ve been dating for two years now.”
Meanwhile Hera was looking at Meika with a smile. “Awww she’s cute,” the vixen cooed.
“Isn’t she? She’s a big fan of Tamira who I know is entering the season this year. That’s another reason why my sister and her husband brought her. But they’re busy so I’m stuck with her for now.”
“Can we go see Tamira now aunite?” Hera then asked in a cute voice.
“Oh okay, let’s go. It was nice seeing you again Nicholas.” The husky and vixen nodded. But Miss Ballard was smiling as she saw the way he and Meika had looked at the other at points during that conversation. It was a gaze of love and the canine was happy he had found it like she had with Jackson.
Hera did meet with Tamira and the pantheress was a little taken aback but had Tag to help her out. Then it came time to eat. Everyone sat down at the tables. Mr. and Mrs. Mane sat with Nicholas, his family and Meika. Here they all talked and the other huskies got to know the vixen a bit better. They could see the feelings she had for Nicholas as it was with him for her even if nothing was said and were happy for the two. The others in the group sat at their own table to talk to. The conversation went well and the food was delicious. Then when everyone had eaten, Mr. Mane stepped up to the podium on the stage. “Thank you all for coming to this,” he said into the mike. His wife watched him with love. “While we wait to dance, I want to say this marks the beginning of the next racing season. Coming together with the RPG had been one of my dreams. I can tell this season will be one the world has never seen before. But before that time comes, we should relax and have fun before it really begins. And here to help with that is one person here with a very special gift is Danny; come on up!”
The Doberman rose up and came onto the stage to the applause of everyone else. He whipped out a piece of paper. “Sorry,” he said into the mike. “I’ve smelled too many fumes in my life and it’s affected my memory. I can’t remember anything anymore.” The rest laughed with amusement. The guy first stated it was an honor to be here, how he was looking forward to the racing season, and why he and some of his crew were here.
“We’re here because when Nicholas asked us to do this, how could I refuse?” the Doberman stated. “He asked us to build a bike that someone will go home with tonight. So now ladies and gents, turn your attention to your right to see her.”
The bike was revealed on the stage and it was a gorgeous one. Tamira’s eyes lit up. Even those who didn’t ride motorcycles all murmured with approval. “One lucky winner will win her,” Danny commented. “So pre congrats to the one who will get her. And thanks again!” He walked off the stage to the applause of the crowd.
People then entered their names into the drawing that would happen. But while they waited since there was time needed for the food to digest, Meika and Nicholas caught up with Miss Ballard and her boyfriend. The vixen realized she really didn’t have anything to worry about. The two clearly weren’t going to be together again and that meant the husky was all hers. Then the time for the drawing came. To the delight of many and some who were surprised, it was Nicholas who won it. He went up to the stage to the applause of the crowd and went up to the mike. “Thank you, it’s is an honor to win this,” the husky said. “But I know that she truly won’t be happy with me. Which is why now I want to give this as a gift to someone else.” Those who didn’t know about this were surprised but waited. “There are two people I think who deserve this. One is someone here who despite my rivalry with him, I respect his driving skills who’s helped me before. On the other hand, this other person is someone who I feel I haven’t really given what she wants. She’s had fun but I feel this will really make her happy. And that’s why even though I could give the bike to Victor here tonight in the end I’ve made the hard decision of who gets it.” He paused a second. “Tamira, get up here; this bike’s yours.”
Her paws went to her mouth, her normal attitude shattered. Everyone applauded for her and she broke into the biggest grin Tag had ever seen her have. “Go on!” he cheered for her.
The pantheress went up to the stage and Nicholas handed her the keys. She smiled at him. “Thank you,” the female actually said.
“Enjoy it; she’s all yours,” Nicholas replied. “We’ll get her back to my place tomorrow.”
Tamira nodded and took her seat again, purring. Now that this was over, the time had come to dance. The lights turned low and the colored ones came on in dots of different colors. Tag got nervous again as he took the pantheress out onto the floor. “Focus Tag,” she told him sternly, some of her old attitude back. Others took their positions, including their friends.
He nodded. Sonny was more or less okay. The rest got ready and the music came on. Everyone began to dance. Miles watched it all with a smile. Tag found he could do it with Tamira even if he wasn’t fully comfortable with this like her. Sonny saw Mia was smiling and glad he was doing okay. But Nicholas and Meika were different. They were smiling and very happy. “Enjoying the party?” he whispered into her ear as he did the work.
“Very much,” she replied softly. “What you’ve done for Tamira was so sweet.”
“If anyone deserved that bike besides Victor, it was her. I just hope he’s not too hurt by me not choosing him even if I did say I really considered him.”
“Oh I think you’ll be fine,” the vixen stated, looking to the right. The male followed her gaze to see him slow dancing with another female. His eyes met and the avian gave the canine a nod of approval, It was all that was needed to let Nicholas know that Victor understood his choice.
The music then changed to one with words. But then one came on that really spoke out to Nicholas and Meika. It began to play (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3u4QXMzntk) “Hey I know this,” the husky said to her.
“I’ve never heard of it,” she replied.
“Just listen.” The lyrics then began.

Meika heard the words and they spoke in her heart and mind.

The song came to an end. The whole time as Nicholas slowly rocked her back and forth, the blush never left their faces. Nor did their smiles with the eyes closed or how her head was against his muscled chest. This song the two felt was really special to them. It had become their song right away. Some more then happened but then it was time to call it a night. Before leaving Mia and Sonyn had a loving hug with her hugging him first. “Thank you for tonight,” she whispered to him. “I had a lot of fun with you.” The panda would be getting a ride home a different way.
“Yeah… I did to,” he replied blushing. “I… I hope the next parties we can do this again.”
“I’d love that.” The two pulled back and smiled. “Well… goodnight Sonny.”
“Night Mia.” He watched her walk away both still smiling.
“It will because…. I like you Sonny… a lot,” the female thought in her head.
“I like her…” the male bear thought in head. “Mia is someone I want to be with that way…” Both were happier than they had ever been.
Soon all the guests had managed to leave and gotten to their homes safely. For Tag and Tamira she was a bit friendlier and open. The pantheress was still trying to get over the fact she had a beautiful bike all her own. “Hey maybe before the season opens you’ll get a chance to ride,” the tiger said to her.
“Oh I will for sure,” she stated. “And I’ll need to thank Nicholas properly later.”
The group made it back to his place. They said a few words except for Nicholas and Meika. The rest went to their rooms. In Tag’s he thought back to everything that had happened tonight. It was then the tiger decided that if anything maybe there might be a chance he could get with her. After everything that had happened, it wasn’t impossible anymore. Meanwhile outside the vixen’s room, she and the husky hugged the other warmly. “Oh my god, tonight was so much fun!” she whispered happily.
“It was for me to,” he said softly. They then pulled back. “Well… goodnight Meika, sweet dreams…”
“Goodnight Nicholas…” They hugged again and he watched her head into her room and close the door.
The male went back to his and closed the door before settling on the bed. “Meika…” he whispered. Everything about her was going through his head. And the guy realized what he now felt for her. “I love you… I love you Meika…
She in the meantime was on her bed and thinking everything about him as well. And the female knew what was in her heart. “I love you…” Meika whispered. “I love you Nicholas…” The two now knew they wanted to be with the other and nobody else as their feelings for the other had grown into that. They didn’t know when it would happen, but that it would in the future. And that was why tonight, they wouldn’t go to sleep just yet as they felt something stir in their bodies. And it had to be taken care of right now.

So it is officially canon; Meika is in love with me like I am with her. Also Sonny has found love and he needs that from someone different and not Meika since she is mine. Also the Tag x Tamira moments for this I felt were perfect.

“Pic time folks!” Johnny said. First came the pairings with those who were dancing and then one big group one before it was time to take off. Food would be there so there was no need for dinner.
Nicholas and Meika led the way out with her holding his arm. The husky didn’t mind and opened the car door for her. She got in and then the male followed suit. He drove and led the way to a different side of the city with the sun having just set. The new area turned out to be an even more upscale and even richer area. Finally though they pulled into a long driveway. This lead to a huge mansion. There were spotlights and people already here were going inside. It was almost like an opening night for a major movie. And if that weren’t enough there were signs that pointed people to this place for the event. “Oh my…” Meika whispered when seeing this.
“Yep, this is the house I grew up in,” Nicholas told her. “But you know me. Where I once lived isn’t going to change who I am.”
“No, you’re right, it won’t.”
The cars all pulled up to the front entrance and the group got out. Here others took the cars and drove them off to park them. “Well, here we go,” Nicholas told them. “Brace yourselves.”
They went into the main front doors. The inside was even more beautiful and gorgeous than the male’s place. But this was a mansion after all. The sound of others and laugher with talking could be heard. “Hey there they are!” went a familiar voice.
Looking showed Cody, Kira, Daniel, Rachel, Florence, and Mr. Jones, the males having their arms around their lady as they were pairs. They were all dressed sharply and nicely in their dresses and suits. Nicholas, Meika, and the others went over to them. “Glad you made it,” the husky said.
“Wouldn’t miss this for anything,” Cody replied. “Oh, I think your family is waiting for you in the main room.”
“Well we shouldn’t keep them waiting.”
Nicholas led the way to the main ballroom where this event would take place. Going in showed this was massive. There was plenty of space for everyone the tables to eat at, and to dance. There was even a stage with a podium. And here right away the group ran into Danny, his lead painter, second in command, and even the guy who prepared the cars for showing to the customers from the car shop. They were wearing suits similar to what John had on. “Good evening ladies and gents!” the younger sibling stated.
“Hey you made it!” Nicholas said with a grin. He and the guy did a bro hug like John while more paw and hand shaking happened for the rest.
“Wouldn’t miss it my man!”
“I trust you got it here?” the husky asked.
“Yes we do, they’re bringing it right now,” Danny told him. Everyone knew that was the bike.
“Very good. Say have you seen-“ Nicholas then saw the guys from the pawn shop and waved them over.
The Old Frog, his son, and grandson had more traditional suits. Even Lee Stan the salamander looked sharp to. “Hey Nicholas!” Dickson commented.
“I didn’t know they were coming to this,” Meika said to the husky.
“I invited them.”
“Doing alright all of you?” Dickson senior asked.
Everyone nodded, even Tag. “Yeah, but these clothes are killing me and a pain,” the tiger grumbled.
“Son, if you think that it’s the least of your problems it gets worse; life’s a bitch.” Everyone laughed at what the Old Frog’s saying and even he smiled.
“Well we need to find my family,” Nicholas then stated.
Just then Ms. Dira and Alfred appeared, both looking very nice and covering the story. “Oh look who it is,” Sonny said with a grin. The two deer came over.
“Good evening you two,” Miles said. The reporters were looking sharp and nice in their outfits tonight.
“And to you,” Alfred replied. “Ms. Dira here and I are reporting on the party here tonight. We’re just going around getting interviews. Do you mind?”
“We won’t keep you long!” she stated with a grin.
“What the hell why not?” Nicholas asked with a grin. So that’s what happened with all the racers here with him and those from the shops.
Like the two deer promised, it didn’t take long since they began to interview the workers, freeing up the racers. And then at last Nicholas saw his family and with them was Mr. Mane. There was also a lioness next to the male lion who was his wife. Meika saw them to. They looked exactly like what she had seen in the picture and were dressed up for this. But standing next to the younger husky was a corsac vixen and holding onto Lucas’s arm, clearly a girlfriend in a dress herself. These six turned to look at the ones coming and got grins. “Ah there they are!” the male lion stated. “I see they have made it!”
They came face to face. Nicholas smiled and his family hugged him. “Ooooh you’re looking so good and handsome,” his mother said in a high pitched tone.
“Thanks mom,” he replied.
“Doing well son,” his father commented.
The huskies then pulled back and Nicholas smiled at the corsac vixen. “Nice to see you again Marie,” he told her. “I guess it’s no surprise you’re here.”
“Was there any doubt?” she asked with a grin. “I am dating your brother after all.”
Nichola nodded and turned to the rest of the group so they could meet these people. “Of course welcome to Aispir City,” Mr. Mane said to them. “I am the mayor here. I’m sure you know who I am but I’ll say it anyways. I am Mr. Mane. I hope you’ve enjoyed your time here. I look forward to the racing season this year.”
“Thank you, we have sir,” Tag replied and everyone shook his paw.
“It’s nice to meet you as well,” the lioness said. “I’m Mrs. Mane, his wife.”
“Say, wasn’t Mr. King supposed to be here?” Nicholas then asked.
“There were so many guests we had to split up,” the lion explained. “He’s at a different party with the rest of the guests.”
“I see.” The husky then turned to his family to introduced them to the group. “Everyone, I’d like you to meet my family. My brother Lucas, his girlfriend Marie, my father Vincent, and my mother Linden.”
Their paws were all shaken and their names learned. “Nice to meet all of you,” the older husky said. “I’m glad my son has been taking care of you well. Glad to see he’s learned well from me.”
“I did learn everything from you and mom.”
Linden however had her eyes a bit more on Meika. She saw the way the vixen was looking at her son like he was for the first female. It made the mother canine smile as she could tell what was going on. And this Meika seemed like a nice, sweet girl who was perfect for her son. But nothing more was then said because just then some others came over also dressed up for this. “Hey there you guys are!” Nicholas stated with a laugh.
“Up high and down low!” one of the males said as the husky’s paws and the other guys wings came together before doing a bro hug. It was a Rook bird with blue eyes and dark feathers.
“Nice to see you again Jacob.”
“And same for me, chili pepper,” went the next male. It was a silver mountain back gorilla who was in his 30s and older. His voice was a deep, kind one.
“Sig!” the husky stated and the two bumped fists. “Great you’re doing alright old timer!”
“Hey, I’m not that old,” the primate replied with a chuckle. “I’ve still got a few seasons left in me to race.”
“Well I can’t say it’s the same for me,” went a female voice. This belonged to a female feline with purple eyes and white fur. She was quiet a looker.
“Hey there Ashley,” Nicholas said. “I knew you’d be here.”
“Was there any doubt?” she asked with amusement.
That left one person who had his wings crossed and a frown on his beak. It was a tall Lyre bird with purple eyes. “Well, well, I figured you wouldn’t show up,” Nicholas then said with a smirk.
“Hmph! I only came because the other party was too crowded!” the avian replied with a cocky British accent. “So I figured I’d come and check out the competition after learning other racers would be here!”
Nicholas rolled his eyes. “Everyone, meet Jacob…” The Rook nodded with a grin. “Sig, Ashley, and finally Victor. They’ll be in the racing season with us.” The rest in the group realized the two avians were the ones the husky had asked about at the orphanage.
“Nice to meet ya!” Jacob said as all introductions were down by paw, hand, or wing shakes. Even Victor did.
“I hope we get to know each other better!” Ashley stated to the group. “You’re friends of Nicholas after all! And I’ve known this goofball since high school!”
“Ouch, that hurt Ashley,” he said to her with a grin.
“Well I have a call just now,” Victor then said, pulling at his phone that was clearly going off. “I suppose I’ll see you later.” He walked off to answer it.
“Is he always like that?” Tag asked Nicholas. “He’s worse than Axel.”
“That’s just how he is,” the husky replied. “He’s very competitive.” Nicholas then went on to explain that he, Victor, Jacob, and Ashley had all gone to high school together. However, the two avians had grown up at the orphanage. But they had all been good friends until they got older. Victor started to distance himself from the others by entering the world of racing. He had gone on abroad, winning tournament after tournament, eventually earning the nickname, the Racing Phoenix King. But he had never fully forgiven Nicholas for beating him when coming back to Aispir City and being defeated. As such, Victor and the husky were rivals. Jacob was more relaxed and chill but still knew how to tear it up on the track and was great friends with Nicholas. Sig was the oldest of the racers and planning to retire after a few more seasons. But the gorilla warned them not to underestimate him. As for Ashley, she to came from a rich family like Nicholas and had known him all their lives. But they had never dated and despite her beauty, the feline knew how to tear it up on the track. Just then more guests started to come in so that meant more socializing. It was getting closer to eating and so that’s when Nicholas figured he and Meika would talk with his folks then. The two were standing and looking at everything. “Enjoying this so far?” he asked her.
“Yes,” she replied.
“Wait, Nicholas?” went another female voice. The husky turned and seeing who it was froze.
“Oh crap,” the canine groaned.
“What, what is it?” the vixen asked.
“It’s… my last ex.” Meika saw her coming while holding paws with a brown furred canine. She was white all over and had orange colored eyes. It had to be Miss Ballard. With them was a little female canine who was white who had to be ten or 11. They all were dressed for this.
“Nicholas, it is you!” the female canine exclaimed. The two hugged and the vixen felt herself getting hot all over with jealousy and anger. Even if she and the male weren’t dating, Meika didn’t like the idea of this canine being too friendly.
“It’s good to see you again,” the guy with glasses said. “You never told me you’d be here.”
“I was invited and decided to surprise you.”
“It would seem you have in more than one way,” the guy said with a nod to the brown furred canine.
“Oh yes,” Miss Ballard said kindly, “And I see you have a guest of your own. Nice to meet you, you must be one of the racers invited here.”
“Meika,” the vixen replied and they shook paws. The first female was having a difficult time being polite.
“So who are these two?” Nicholas then asked.
“Oh yes,” the female canine replied. “This is my boyfriend Jackson. And this little one is my niece Hera.”
“Hey there!” the young one said while the other canine shook paws with Nicholas and Meika. The vixen felt better now knowing that this new female wouldn’t try anything with the husky.
“Nice to meet you,” Jackson replied. “I’ve heard a lot about you from her.”
“Uh… good then,” Nicholas said, not sure what to make of that. “Just make her happy. That’s all I ask.”
“Oh he does for sure,” Miss Ballard replied. “We’ve been dating for two years now.”
Meanwhile Hera was looking at Meika with a smile. “Awww she’s cute,” the vixen cooed.
“Isn’t she? She’s a big fan of Tamira who I know is entering the season this year. That’s another reason why my sister and her husband brought her. But they’re busy so I’m stuck with her for now.”
“Can we go see Tamira now aunite?” Hera then asked in a cute voice.
“Oh okay, let’s go. It was nice seeing you again Nicholas.” The husky and vixen nodded. But Miss Ballard was smiling as she saw the way he and Meika had looked at the other at points during that conversation. It was a gaze of love and the canine was happy he had found it like she had with Jackson.
Hera did meet with Tamira and the pantheress was a little taken aback but had Tag to help her out. Then it came time to eat. Everyone sat down at the tables. Mr. and Mrs. Mane sat with Nicholas, his family and Meika. Here they all talked and the other huskies got to know the vixen a bit better. They could see the feelings she had for Nicholas as it was with him for her even if nothing was said and were happy for the two. The others in the group sat at their own table to talk to. The conversation went well and the food was delicious. Then when everyone had eaten, Mr. Mane stepped up to the podium on the stage. “Thank you all for coming to this,” he said into the mike. His wife watched him with love. “While we wait to dance, I want to say this marks the beginning of the next racing season. Coming together with the RPG had been one of my dreams. I can tell this season will be one the world has never seen before. But before that time comes, we should relax and have fun before it really begins. And here to help with that is one person here with a very special gift is Danny; come on up!”
The Doberman rose up and came onto the stage to the applause of everyone else. He whipped out a piece of paper. “Sorry,” he said into the mike. “I’ve smelled too many fumes in my life and it’s affected my memory. I can’t remember anything anymore.” The rest laughed with amusement. The guy first stated it was an honor to be here, how he was looking forward to the racing season, and why he and some of his crew were here.
“We’re here because when Nicholas asked us to do this, how could I refuse?” the Doberman stated. “He asked us to build a bike that someone will go home with tonight. So now ladies and gents, turn your attention to your right to see her.”
The bike was revealed on the stage and it was a gorgeous one. Tamira’s eyes lit up. Even those who didn’t ride motorcycles all murmured with approval. “One lucky winner will win her,” Danny commented. “So pre congrats to the one who will get her. And thanks again!” He walked off the stage to the applause of the crowd.
People then entered their names into the drawing that would happen. But while they waited since there was time needed for the food to digest, Meika and Nicholas caught up with Miss Ballard and her boyfriend. The vixen realized she really didn’t have anything to worry about. The two clearly weren’t going to be together again and that meant the husky was all hers. Then the time for the drawing came. To the delight of many and some who were surprised, it was Nicholas who won it. He went up to the stage to the applause of the crowd and went up to the mike. “Thank you, it’s is an honor to win this,” the husky said. “But I know that she truly won’t be happy with me. Which is why now I want to give this as a gift to someone else.” Those who didn’t know about this were surprised but waited. “There are two people I think who deserve this. One is someone here who despite my rivalry with him, I respect his driving skills who’s helped me before. On the other hand, this other person is someone who I feel I haven’t really given what she wants. She’s had fun but I feel this will really make her happy. And that’s why even though I could give the bike to Victor here tonight in the end I’ve made the hard decision of who gets it.” He paused a second. “Tamira, get up here; this bike’s yours.”
Her paws went to her mouth, her normal attitude shattered. Everyone applauded for her and she broke into the biggest grin Tag had ever seen her have. “Go on!” he cheered for her.
The pantheress went up to the stage and Nicholas handed her the keys. She smiled at him. “Thank you,” the female actually said.
“Enjoy it; she’s all yours,” Nicholas replied. “We’ll get her back to my place tomorrow.”
Tamira nodded and took her seat again, purring. Now that this was over, the time had come to dance. The lights turned low and the colored ones came on in dots of different colors. Tag got nervous again as he took the pantheress out onto the floor. “Focus Tag,” she told him sternly, some of her old attitude back. Others took their positions, including their friends.
He nodded. Sonny was more or less okay. The rest got ready and the music came on. Everyone began to dance. Miles watched it all with a smile. Tag found he could do it with Tamira even if he wasn’t fully comfortable with this like her. Sonny saw Mia was smiling and glad he was doing okay. But Nicholas and Meika were different. They were smiling and very happy. “Enjoying the party?” he whispered into her ear as he did the work.
“Very much,” she replied softly. “What you’ve done for Tamira was so sweet.”
“If anyone deserved that bike besides Victor, it was her. I just hope he’s not too hurt by me not choosing him even if I did say I really considered him.”
“Oh I think you’ll be fine,” the vixen stated, looking to the right. The male followed her gaze to see him slow dancing with another female. His eyes met and the avian gave the canine a nod of approval, It was all that was needed to let Nicholas know that Victor understood his choice.
The music then changed to one with words. But then one came on that really spoke out to Nicholas and Meika. It began to play (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3u4QXMzntk) “Hey I know this,” the husky said to her.
“I’ve never heard of it,” she replied.
“Just listen.” The lyrics then began.

The song came to an end. The whole time as Nicholas slowly rocked her back and forth, the blush never left their faces. Nor did their smiles with the eyes closed or how her head was against his muscled chest. This song the two felt was really special to them. It had become their song right away. Some more then happened but then it was time to call it a night. Before leaving Mia and Sonyn had a loving hug with her hugging him first. “Thank you for tonight,” she whispered to him. “I had a lot of fun with you.” The panda would be getting a ride home a different way.
“Yeah… I did to,” he replied blushing. “I… I hope the next parties we can do this again.”
“I’d love that.” The two pulled back and smiled. “Well… goodnight Sonny.”
“Night Mia.” He watched her walk away both still smiling.
“It will because…. I like you Sonny… a lot,” the female thought in her head.
“I like her…” the male bear thought in head. “Mia is someone I want to be with that way…” Both were happier than they had ever been.
Soon all the guests had managed to leave and gotten to their homes safely. For Tag and Tamira she was a bit friendlier and open. The pantheress was still trying to get over the fact she had a beautiful bike all her own. “Hey maybe before the season opens you’ll get a chance to ride,” the tiger said to her.
“Oh I will for sure,” she stated. “And I’ll need to thank Nicholas properly later.”
The group made it back to his place. They said a few words except for Nicholas and Meika. The rest went to their rooms. In Tag’s he thought back to everything that had happened tonight. It was then the tiger decided that if anything maybe there might be a chance he could get with her. After everything that had happened, it wasn’t impossible anymore. Meanwhile outside the vixen’s room, she and the husky hugged the other warmly. “Oh my god, tonight was so much fun!” she whispered happily.
“It was for me to,” he said softly. They then pulled back. “Well… goodnight Meika, sweet dreams…”
“Goodnight Nicholas…” They hugged again and he watched her head into her room and close the door.
The male went back to his and closed the door before settling on the bed. “Meika…” he whispered. Everything about her was going through his head. And the guy realized what he now felt for her. “I love you… I love you Meika…
She in the meantime was on her bed and thinking everything about him as well. And the female knew what was in her heart. “I love you…” Meika whispered. “I love you Nicholas…” The two now knew they wanted to be with the other and nobody else as their feelings for the other had grown into that. They didn’t know when it would happen, but that it would in the future. And that was why tonight, they wouldn’t go to sleep just yet as they felt something stir in their bodies. And it had to be taken care of right now.

So it is officially canon; Meika is in love with me like I am with her. Also Sonny has found love and he needs that from someone different and not Meika since she is mine. Also the Tag x Tamira moments for this I felt were perfect.
