I really wanted him to maybe have a change of heart. At least he was a more believable antagonist than in the regular Broly movie.

He couldn't have his change of heart in the movie because no one ever pointed out what he was doing wrong. I desperately want a Paragus redemption arc, so, I'm just creating it myself. :P

You DO have to. There is a literal scene with Paragus on his knees, in his underwear, and it is just gratuitous butt shot for a few seconds! (Ugh, dies)

Honestly, I prefer his original design. But I’m with you, I’d like to see himget a redemption arc.
