Have you ever read BlackSad? It's a Spanish comic telling the tales of a detective in the 1950s, with gorgeous artwork. The awesome part is that all the characters are anthropomorphic! I just recently picked up the first volume after hearing about it for years. I wish it was much longer, but that only means i'll have to go grab the next one!

But I was inspired by the mood of the main character. The trench coat style is one that i particularly love to draw. I also need to work more on gesture and dynamic shapes, and this comic is a great lesson in that!
