Dallas and Fort Worth
I wanted to do a little something extra for my local convention, Furry Fiesta.
So I doodled up a couple that might have more than a professional relationship going on. ^_^
Dallas the cowgirl has roped herself a not so reluctant looking longhorn cow boy. Business, pleasure, or a mix of both? They both look pretty pleased with their catch (or being caught, in his case.)
The cities of Dallas and Fort Worth are nearby each other, and the major highways that connect them are all straight lines. With Fort Worth's additional title of "cow town" due to the historic Fort Worth stockyards, this couple sprang to mind as the perfect anthro representatives of the DFW metroplex.
The two original pieces of art for Dallas and Fort Worth will be available at the Furry Fiesta art show this weekend. Prints feature both images as shown here, and will be available at the convention and on-line afterwards.
Yee haw!
Forever Drawing,
Michele

Cute, it just reminds me though that the only type of story that I don't think I've submitted on here is a Western. And given the fact that, to me at least, the Western actually dove tails quite nicely with Steam Punk, they take place about the same time, which is a favorite of mine. I almost want to look for and get Frontier Cthulhu for some additional ideas for making a properly ghoulish Dark Science Fantasy story set in a furry Wild West. Like the old tv Show Wild Wild West meets Dark Shadows somewhere.
