super-manual focus is go! as i happen to not have a conversion ring for my 10x macro lens for my SLR AND my flash is partially blocked by the lens as it is, i have resorted to using my PnC with the lens held... in my other hand! it works fairly well, all things considered, though the flash is blocked a good bit still. these are a few of the decent shots i got.

red eyes molted to adult on friday and i couldn't wait to get a good shot of his transparent wings. super-manual focus got them fairly well, all things considered. just need a proper lighting setup to really make those babies pop!
