Zephyr: Seer
What I never told Ashura was that I have what some might call a “third eye”. I can think of a place, and when I do I see what is happening at that place. If I focus, I can foresee what happens a few hours into the future. In the fight with the falcon, I simply had my eye in the mist watching him to make sure nothing would happen. When I saw those strange sigils appearing behind his body, I prepared the essence in case something would happen. My clothing got charred, but aside from that, I feel lucky to have gotten out of there unscathed.
I feel I owe it to Ashura to see if they’re holding up alright. I hope the falcon has put them somewhere safe and sound. As I change my clothes I view around for the crane, and I eventually find the duo after a great deal of searching. I see Ashura sleeping in a nest while Abaddon just stands next to them, staring at them. I shudder, hoping I can help Ashura get out of that situation. If only there was something I could do, but it seems that falcon intends to kill me if I meddle. I refuse to spend essence a second time just to survive. I need the immortality.
To make sure nothing horrible does happen, I try viewing into the future. Unfortunately, that is something I am still not the best at doing. The further I look into the future, the less clearly I can actually see. If only I could look into the past, then I might be able to understand Ashura better. I view and see a restless Ashura make the mistake of waking up early and getting an earful from that horrible falcon. Thankfully, it does not seem to last long. The next hour, things seem to go by smoothly. The hour after that is similar. An hour before the sun rises, the falcon shakes Ashura awake! How horrible! I look ahead ten minutes after and I see something interesting.
In the midst of oncoming blurry vision, I see myself.
At this point, I cannot tell what is going on due to the lack of clarity, but I see our bodies head west. An hour or so later, I see us approach an area with a bright light in the form of a perfect circle. I only know one ritual with just one perfect circle, and that is the wish-granting circle for elemental magic. I can’t tell what is going on, though, or who is here. Am I making the wish? Anybody could be making the wish. Either way, that is vital. I refuse to let someone else get their wish granted instead of me. I stop using my visions and prepare for heading to Ashura.
