I think it's safe to say that Fuzzy is probably my only purely online friend. He's an extremely funny, nice guy who makes awesome bead sprites and in general is a really supportive person. I've wanted to make gift art for him practically since I met him, and lately he's been feeling a crappy so I decided to finally go for it. I know I'm not the best at comforting with words sometimes, but maybe this will be able to cheer him up, at least a little. :)
I did deviate from his character sheet a little, mainly by applying a darker mask to the top of his face. Though his current ref sheet doesn't have this, an earlier text description he gave me does. I liked the look of the mask so I included it, I hope he doesn't mind. :) (Ref sheet here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3199781)
Yet again my coloring style is going all over the place. Someone remarked that my last piece looked very "watercolory," so needless to say I took that idea and ran with it. I used two textures in this piece, one that looks like water color paper and another that looks like scratched up paper. I'm pleased with the results! As for how I colored it, well, there was an assload of layers, lets just say that.
Anyway, Fuzzy is a really cool guy so please drop by his page and say hello! Oh, and favorite some of his art, because its awesome. :D
