Lit up like a staaar~
"My Christmas Tree", John Williams, mercilessly parodied.
Christmas parties certainly aren't Lockhart's thing, as one might expect. For all the pride and confidence he shows on the diving block and in the swimming pool, once he's out of it he's as timid as nerd as they come, as has been demonstrated in many other circumstances. That's why, when it came to the college Christmas party and its 'mandatory' celebration, he made sure to get a drink of water and very quickly move himself out of the way.
That didn't stop one of his companions, though. Syrah (who he met through Janus) is one of the thirstiest boys he knows, and when he realised Lockhart was standing under the mistletoe almost completely by accident, a plan came to mind. Of course, when Lockie is 7ft tall and Syrah is somewhere between the 5 and 6 range, kisses are hard.
Enter: The Stepladder!
Exit: Lockie's sense of composure as he bursts into embarassed flames.
