Not every mission Whisper goes on is clean or goes smoothly. She definitely has those times that she cuts it -very- close, or her life is at stake.
...she's even been hunted down a few times herself.
Ironically, being the "prey" has probably been some of Whisper's favorite adventures as odd as that might sound. It gives her a chance to hone in on her skills and show her opponent she is not to be taken lightly.
But no matter what, she ALWAYS gets the job done. Always. No matter what.
And that is why she is both respected and feared by her peers!
However today not one of those days.
Perhaps she underestimated her opponent, or maybe she pushed herself too much. Nonetheless, she knows her limitations and is not afraid to retreat-
...for now.
It's okay, not every fight has to be a victory.
Rest, heal, train, reevaluate the situation...then come back stronger. Take out whoever was stupid enough not to finish you off the first time~
You already know who this piece is from, and if you do not, you obviously have not been watching me for long! From one of my favorite artists fuwafuwabani, or fluffysteambunny (linking both of her pages to boost her just because she deserves it~)
I swear she is one of the few artists that can make Whisper look cute yet badass at the same time. That is a tough skill to pull off, haha.
A badass icon she made of Whisper in the middle of a pretty rough fight!
Surely you all did not think Whisper was this flawless assassin that never loses or gets injured? Pfft, please, this is not an anime- this is the real world...err, furry world! Unfortunately, even Whisper has come across adversaries that are a bit too much for her.
It is okay though: with every struggle she goes through, it only makes her STRONGER. She will be back to finish the job...
Now I never post icons I receive in my gallery, but I made a special expectation in this case as: 1) it is really badass, 2) fa kills the details when you shrink it down and I was not going to do that injustice to this piece. So instead I am going to set it as my profile id.
