As a Young Female in this Diverse and sometimes Hostile world Zaryn came to the realization that she didn't actually
have the protection of her own tribe. Had she grown up on her homeworld there would of been Several Pak'toh and
Shurichi that would of served as borders to any hostile creatures that would of protected the Mak'tah and their young.
On Earth however there was no such thing and Zaryn soon understood that the only thing standing between Danger
and her Family was herself. It didn't take long before she began to seek out the aid of someone to instruct and train
her. At the least to make sure she was fit to protect her family, and at the most to help her understand the potential
dangers of the larger population that was the Humans.
Zaryn ran into a few difficulties, being 6' tall and yet still a teenager by her species standards. A lot of places didn't
feel equipped or legally safe to train her. So it brought Zaryn immense relief and joy when bringing this concern to her
employer whom recommended someone specifically for her, an ex MMA Fighter, Drake Sapphire who happened to
have his own gym.
The initial meeting went well. Mr Sapphire was a bit hesitant about training her, but perhaps it was the little looks on
Janarr and Drayk's young little faces that told him that he was going to be doing a good deed if he said yes. That
didn't mean he was going to take it easy on this Fledgling Mother. The first couple sessions were rough and
unwavering. Standing more than a foot taller than her and with the body built like a bull, Mr Sapphire spent the better
part of a few days throwing Zaryn to the mat and helping her understand many fundamentals.
Despite becoming sore rather quick trying to take on Drake in the ring she quickly grew to enjoy her time with him
and the workout he gave her. It had been a long time since she met someone like him that she could feel herself to be
in good company with. Perhaps it was because he felt like one of the many Pak'toh of her world to her. Big and
Strong, protective but gentle. For now though Zaryn had a goal, to one day get good enough to be able to put Mr
Sapphire on his back instead of it always being vice versa.
