The art-obsessed individual of the Phantom Thieves, Yusuke Kitagawa, also known as Fox, is the counterfeiter and forger. Unlike people like Ren, Ryuji, and Morgana, who are known for being to an extent rude and sarcastic, Yusuke does his best to act polite and gentlemanly as possible. About him obsessed with art, it’s his LIFE. Constantly taking inspiration from everything he looks at, he wants to make his mark in the art world and strives to achieve the beauty and style of ukiyo-e. After him the team unknowingly got transported to Cherryton Academy, Yusuke wants to make the most of his art life while there with suggestions from Louis in plays and performance. As Fox in the Metaverse, Yusuke is cold-hearted and ruthless towards his enemies, usually claiming their hatred for art.

Fox’s Persona is another virtuous thief, Goemon. And in fact, the Japanese version of Robin Hood, just like how France is with Arséne. A being who stole from the rich and gives to the poor, usually told via Kabuki plays. He’s known for attempt of slaying Sengoku warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and as a result was publicly executed by being dropped into a vat of boiling water. But soon, after ascending into Yusuke’s Persona, Goemon can grant Yusuke the ability to re-paint anything to make it seem like that a certain thing looks like something else.
