Island Otter and Male
Beginnings of Happiness
Nicholas and Kalea then swam back to the boat that he had come on. They got on and the male began to drive the small vehicle to where he would be staying. The whole time his new girlfriend held onto him with the intent of never letting go. Not that both minded. The sea otter had dreamed of doing this with her new boyfriend ever since realizing she liked him. Now the long-haired male was by her side forever. The male drove the vehicle to a house that was near the place the native otters lived at. So it was in perfect distance for Kalea to come see him every day and the same was true with him visiting her place. The sea otter’s eyebrows went up seeing it. The house was right by the water and white in color. It had a deck area to look out at the ocean. But there weren’t any chairs or a table at all. There was a nice space to tie up the boat after parking it. Nicholas tossed the luggage that was on off onto the beach first and then hoped off before offering a paw to Kalea. She giggled and took it, squeezing it. Helping her down, she was in his arms and then the guy took her to the front. “Just be prepared, there is not much here,” he said after getting the key out of a pocket.
Nicholas opened the door and Kalea saw what he meant. There was nothing but floors and walls. But she did feel the blast of air conditioning. “What… why nothing?” she asked him.
“The reason I got this place easily was nobody was here,” the fosky explained. “It will be up to me and maybe you to help me fill this place up. It will work as I do have cool air, hot running water, a kitchen, and even the ability to connect with people online.”
Kalea nodded, grinning. “I help?” she cooed, looking to him with her dazzling smile.
“Yes my beautiful otter,” the male replied, kissing her forehead and causing the female to giggle like a school girl. “Here, let me show you the rest.”
Holding paws Nicholas showed that besides a room that could be the living room, the kitchen and dining room was similar to what she had seen on the ship in terms of the layout. There were a couple of closests and two bathrooms. While one was small, the largest one had a shower big for two with a tub. The rest of the rooms were of different sizes but the largest and best was the one Nicholas would sleep in. The guy had bought an inflatable mattress with him and a pump so the guy wouldn’t be sleeping on the hard floor. Then it was back outside to grab that and the luggage. These were set in the main room before the two hugged the other. “Mmmm…” Kalea churred happily.
“Come; let us go to the others,” Nicholas said softly.
The two left his house with her holding his right arm. Along the way the two flirted and giggled, happy to be in love. The first stop were at her parents place. There Nicholas explained the situation with Kalea translating. Although her father seemed a little stern at first, the older otters were very happy their daughter had such a wonderful male by her side. Then it was on to Tala and her family. The little sea otter pup ran into the male’s arms and he hugged her with warmth. It made his girl smile as it was so sweet. The child and her family were delighted Nicholas would be living on the island from now on. And quickly the news he was black like Remy and the sea otter captain spread through the community like wild fire. They welcomed the long-haired fosky with open arms. Even Leilani and Malana’s father was happy to see Nicholas again. And he to saw Remy and Malana happy to be together along with the captain and her sister looking happy as a couple to. The otter community learned the situation Nicholas had for his living situation and offered to help him. It was a good was to pay him back for that memorial made for the beloved female leader, Malana and Leilani’s mother, they had lost years ago. The fosky wasn’t so sure but Kalea told her boyfriend that it was a good idea. “It help, right?” she asked.
“Well… okay then,” he agreed and allowed them to proceed.
What they gave was a few things to make it seem like home from blankets and woven items. Nicholas and Kalea hung them up and he was very pleased with how they looked. They went well with the stuff from the ship wreck that he had taken as part of his payment with helping with that. Those were displayed on a small shelf that another of the otters gave to him. Now the male felt like he was truly beginning to settle in to his home. And with Kalea by his side, Nicholas knew his life was perfect for now. That night a feast well held in the honor for him and the other two. All to celebrate their return and the happiness they brought the three females that were loved the most. The whole time people laughed and talked. The couples did to but mostly had attention for the one they loved the most. It was a wonderful way to start a new life. At the end, everyone began to head home to sleep. Nicholas and Kalea walked back to her hut, holding paws. At the entrance the male picked her up, spinning the female in a circle. The sea otter squealed, her thick rudder tail whipping back and forth, and her legs were kicking playfully. The fosky sat her down and they hugged with warmth and love. “Such good day…” Kalea churred into his ear.
“A perfect one…” he whispered. “And a beginning to something wonderful with you…” The couple pulled back and smiled, staring deep into the other’s eyes. “So… when shall I see you next?”
“Oh… you come when you want.”
“Then I can do that…” Their foreheads came together. “Then until then my beautiful Kalea…”
“Yes…” she whispered. “I love you…”
“I love you to…” They came in to kiss and a few seconds later it became a make out session. Her arms went around his neck, his paws fell to her waist. The two held the other close in this heated exchange of tongues. A few minutes passed before they pulled apart, trying to get their breath back. Nicholas kissed her neck, causing the otter to giggle. “You are amazing, you know that?”
Kalea giggled again. “You to…” The couple had one more kiss goodnight before she went in. That night their dreams were filled with thoughts about the one they loved. And this was just the first day of being together.
