Not much of a story behind this one, aside from the idea of me starting a rabbit transformation and seeing if I can incorporate a long tail too. So I made a rabbit dragon. They are a dragon for rabbits, where they hoard mounds of carrots and never eat any of them. Regular rabbits fight and slay these creatures so they can feed their colonies.

So, if you suddenly find a great rise in rabbit population, it usually means a Rabbit-Dragon was slain.

... huh, guess there was a story. But why is this guy turning into one?

Well, naturally because they parasitically reproduce. I mean, it's common sense, after all. This way they don't need a mate, and therefore, they don't have to share their bounty.
