I still think you need to upload a higher resolution version. YouTube now accepts up to 1080p video!

the version on youtube is almost twice as large as this one here but i dont know how to link to that one.

I see what you mean because the version on YouTube has a higher scaling, but it isn't in HD. In fact it only has 480 lines of resolution. In order to display an HD version, you'll need to upload an HD version that is either 720p or 1080p and that may mean you'll have to encode a new version at either of those resolutions. If you use Adobe Premier or Sony Vegas this should be easy to do. Usually, you get the option to export your videos into different formats.

i tried to upload a larger version but the maximum resolution of my original video is not big enough to becone a hd video. it would be just a little better than the actual version, but youtube does not allow to replace a video file so i would have to upload it as a new video (no count, no comments, new link...) and that would not be worth it... :(

If you could get somebody to remaster your video with your original highrez images, it could be done. It wouldn't look exactly the same, but it would be pretty close. I might even be able to do that for you. All I'd have to is post a friends only version for you to copy and then repost on your channel when ever you like.

What software package did you use to render the movie together? If you still have your original project file, you could render a high rez version from that, maybe? That would be the easiest thing to do. Your work really deserves to be seen in sharper detail, so please consider all options.

Yes, that's a good upscale. You can see the details much better. You should see it on my high end 47" TV I purchased only a few months ago.

When viewed at such a high level of detail, as with your facial and ocular area close-ups, it is very difficult not to fall close to the "uncanny valley", and wind up with a feeling of revulsion being induced in the viewer. You however, have mimicked the beauty and elegance of nature with such precision and excellence that I find myself drawn into the image, often unable to break my gaze from what I find to be a visually near-perfect meld of human and beast.
