Fuck Singles Awareness Day and HOORAY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!
Late, but only by a few hours due to PS cs2 issues, so I finally just switched to Sai. Much more of what I want and reliable.
Anyway, this was the perfect opportunity for me to draw my little hybrid shota Jam doing what he does best: being Chinese <3 Jam is EXTREMELY patriotic when it comes to China and isnt against giving whoever speaks ill of it a severe beat-down. He dreams of one day going there since he was only born there and then moved away with his family days later. The only thing he remembers is peaceful gu zheng music and the smell of green sprout and rice. He couldnt make it to Hong Kong to join the festival this year, but he celebrated in his room with the news channel live on the event <3 Hes going to have a few days of bliss and then later on, he'll finally break down and cry, wishing he could have experienced it in person~
The chinese under the star says Happy New Year and the characters on the fan say Thrive/Prosper <3

Yes, it can last however long they damn well want it to. This outage lasted months. Like, 4 or 6, before services were gradually restored. Don't underestimate how badly a dictatorship will fuck over it's own people to assert control. As long as the dictators can like a life of luxury, the country can remain in the 19th Century and have half the people starve for all they care.
You need to become more worldly in your knowledge, especially regarding countries you love. The fact you know so little about the government is frightening. As for the rest... Most I know about that are Romance of the Three Kingdoms and their food, but of which I like. They can't even translate their food into English correctly, however. Would you eat 'shredded documents with Hoisin sauce' or 'Eggplants cooked under mysterious circumstances' or 'steamed crap'? I'm not joking, those are actual translations. I'm sure they don't serve crap or shredded documents, of course, but, can't they at least fuck up the translation less disgustingly?
Im working on it. I'll go at my own pace, thanks. And I dont see how its "frightening". I dont live there so I dont need to know anything about their government. And it isn't their fault they dont speak English and have a hard time translating. You leave it one-sided though, English bilingual speakers can correct them at any time.
Never in my life, albeit a short one, have I heard such terrible translations. Only the Chinese are infamous for this shit. Anyway, if you must embrace Chinese culture, and you have a keen mind for turn-based strategy games, I strongly recommend Romance of the Three Kingdoms 4 and 9. The entire series is based on the historical novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which takes place in the Warring States period of the late 2nd to early-late 3rd Century A.D. China. If you don't like this, I don't see whatelse I can provide.
