Clothing mimics are more advanced evolutions of their ancesteral relatives the Dungeon Mimics.
Unlike their ancestors who could only mimic furniture, Clothing and Object mimics have adapted to be able to appear humanoid also.
So in this case, the Mimics humanoid form is on the right, and their clothing form is being modeled by Ghu on the left.
Though it is less common for these creatures to be as predatorial as their ancestors, vore can happen both of the hard and soft forms, and when softly vored, victims can be stored within their anthropomorphic form. Most mimics can also be worn in their anthro state like a weirdly fleshy, toothy fursuit, though as they lack eyes and mouths on most occassions, visibility is nigh non existent unless the mimic adjusts their faces for your convenience.
Theure basically shape shifters made of cloth and fleshy sinew wrapped around teeth pretending to be clothing and people, tryin to live their lives~
