To this day the 1993 Sierra classic 'Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers' remains my favorite adventure game of all time. One of my favorite games period. I recently purchased it for the low low price of $5.99 here:

It's been a trip down memory lane playing it again. Tim Curry plays the lead and hams up his role in standard Tim Curry fashion.

This is as awesome as the game itself, Tim Curry does such a excellent work although sadly it is only in recent times I got to experience the voiceovers along with the game itself.
Also Gabriel pretending to be Mosely cracks me up in every instance, he is so harsh on his friend.

I hate the ones that have what seems like tiny trivial events that aren't clear that you should intervene that happen way early during the game, then let you play for hours, then reveal that you're stuck forever later on with no chance of fixing it.

Hehehe, so glad you know about this. I cry so hard from laughing at everything in it...
"Violate."
"DRUMS!! This guy really gets DRUMS! We're still waiting for DRUMS! I like music!"
VOODOOS!
Also, don't know if you know about this, but in the fan-made game "King's Quest: The Silver Lining", if Graham talks to the black widow enough, one conversation topic comes up where he asks "What can you tell me about ....voodoo?" in the SAME way Tim Curry did. The response got me falling off my chair...

Here you go! :-D It's a link to the segment I was talking about, but if you want to know more about the actual game, just PM me and I'll help you out. :) (Though it caters more to KK fans) http://youtu.be/LvUK-GDmxAc?t=8m2s
