Actually killing 2 birds with 1 stone here. A very good friend of mine has been wanting to have a piece done by me for some time, so I wanted to slap down a doodle and see if I could follow his written description accurately. I think he's a rather nice looking fellow. ;)

Lately FA has been boring, my Submissions inbox flooded with silly sketches or boring half-finished art trades that people upload to get more page views.
This, now this really caught my eye. I believe the thing that stands out about this so much is that whilst it was a throw-together, the key is it wasn't overdone. My motto with quick pieces is expect less and get more, throw that in with this 'faster coloring method' you tried which melds with the hard lines so perfectly, and well, it's hard not to appreciate how it just fell into place.
